Ramblings of a Madman

Ok maybe someone can tell me what's up, I bought the DesktopX Runtime CLient and downloaded it, used the key number given to my by Stardock and installed it. When I go to add new installs on Impulse on my system I was able to add everything including the free apps with keys but Impulse keeps telling me that the key for the DesktopX Runtime Client 3 is an invalid key and will only accept keys given by Stardock. I bought the ware from Stardock, Stardock gave me the key and now Impulse tells me it's not valid. Anyone have any clues as to what's up with this?

This is because the DesktopX Runtime Client exists as only the standalone installer and is not setup to be downloaded/updated via Impulse.

Thanks Kendo, I think I understand the only thing I'm wondering is I know the freewares are the same as the DX Runtime but they are registerd in Impulse ie Vista Logon and MyColors so I'm not clear on why that is? I do appreciate your response. Thanks.

Certain freeware applications require registration. If the DX Runtime shows up in your list of registrations it is because Impulse is looking at your account overall. WinCustomize subscriptions are listed in Impulse but that does not mean it is something that Impulse can use. Same scenario here with the runtime.
